The genealogy project was by far the most exhilarating,
interesting, and heart warming projects I have ever had
the opportunity to participate in. her parents. As Jews, it is important to know where we come from and what was sacrificed in order to
enable us to be in this world today. This project made me
feel so thankful and accomplished.
-Talia Klein; 8th Grader
By learning about my family it made me feel proud and made me realize how important it is to know about your heritage. This project allowed me to fully appreciate their struggles and success and in the process discovered my great (times 4) grandfather was a pretty cool guy.
-Alexandra Aronowitz; 8th Grader
By studying about both sides of my family, I was
able to have double the understanding of my
ancestors and really feel connected to my family
all over. Throughout the generations, my family
has never been very observant but the project
helped to show me how much our family has
always cared about their own Jewish community
wherever they were in the world.
-Dalya Romaner; 8th Grader
